With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon Yvonne Eakle of Gamaliel, Kentucky, who passed away on October 4, 2024 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sharon Yvonne Eakle to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Emberton and Dorcia Emberton (Burks); her husband Lewis Eakle; her brother Sheldon Emberton; her son-in-law Randy Gerald; and her sister-in-law Kathy Emberton.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Kimberly Eakle Hume (Perry) and Paul Kirk Eakle (Rita Crabtree) of Gamaliel; and her brothers, Gary Emberton (Connie) of Tompkinsville and Mike Emberton of Tompkinsville.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, October 7th 2024 from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bartley & Sons - Gamaliel (315 E Main St, Gamaliel, KY 42140). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, October 7th 2024 at 2:15 PM at the Clementsville Cemetery (15 Old Mulkey Rd, Red Boiling Springs, TN 37150).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gamaliel Volunteer Fire Department, Rock Bridge Missionary Baptist Church or to Clementsville Cemetery in memory of Mrs. Eakle.
