He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Lanny and Alice Jeannie Whiles (Hixson); and his siblings, Debra Spear and Collin Whiles. He is survived by: his sisters, Lanajean Whiles of Cave City, Sherri Walthall of Cave City, Melanie McGuire of Lampasas and Heidi Burton of Glasgow. He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.
