It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kenneth Holbrook of Gamaliel, Kentucky, who passed away on November 25, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Woodrow Holbrook and Olive Caroll; his wife Peggy Ann Holbrook (Crum); his siblings, Ray Holbrook and Ruby Turner; and his brothers-in-law, Roger Carraway and Bill Faulkner.
He is survived by: his sons, Mike (Kim Holbrook) of Cookeville and Josh Holbrook of Gamaliel; his grandchildren, Amber Lawson (Neil) of Tompkinsville, Tyler Jobe (Hershel) of Gainesboro, Myra Holbrook (Robbie) of Murfreesboro, Caulyn and Noah Holbrook of Gamaliel; his great grandchildren, Anna, Dwayne Lawson and Owen Hunter; his siblings, Phyliss Carraway of Berea, Brenda Fields (Jimmy) of Flatwoods and Carlos (Margie Holbrook) of Raceland; and his siblings-in-law, Jerry Turner of Tompkinsville and Freda Holbrook of Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated by the family to The Monroe County Arts Council, and these may be made at the funeral home or mailed to Bartley and Sons Funeral Home.
