She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Thomas and Neva Thomas (Wheat); her husband Carman Collins; her siblings, Jimmy Thomas and Nadine Turner (Thomas); and her great great grandchild Enoch Hart.
She is survived by: her children, Sheryl Stinson (Kerry) of Gamaliel, Murrell Collins (Terri) of Gamaliel and Rita Collins (Rolando Statemen) of Lancaster; her grandchildren, Teresa Grizzell (Tony) of Danville, Jake Stinson (Kendra) of Fountain Run, Chase Collins (Amber) of Edmonton, Lincoln Gay of Lexington and Colin Gay of Mt. Sterling; her great grandchildren, Patrick Grizzell of Danville, Heather Hart (Hunter) of Richmond, Blake, Jaxon Collins, Kensley and Kaleb Stinson of Fountain Run; her great great grandchild Ezrah Hart of Richmond; her siblings, Ruth Stinson of Florida, Joyce Denham (Leon) of Louisville, Travis Thomas (Nelda) and Ralph Thomas; and her caregivers, Gayle, Becky, Cathy, Myra, Claudine, Deloris and Danetta. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of June may be made to the Monroe County Backpack Program or the Gamaliel Cemetery and can be made at the funeral home.
