It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Riggs of Gamaliel, Kentucky, who passed away on November 22, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Janet departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Janet. Though Janet may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Talamage and Sybil Kathleen Riggs (Mosby); and her sister Joanna Riggs. She is also survived by Cousins and leaves behind several close friends and neighbors.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Bartley & Sons - Gamaliel (315 E Main St, Gamaliel, KY 42140). A graveside service was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Gamaliel Cemetery (825 Gamaliel Rd, Gamaliel, KY 42140).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to assist with final expenses, those may be made at the funeral home.
