Hearl Randall Baskett Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hearl Randall Baskett of Gamaliel, Kentucky, born in Tompkinsville, Kentucky, who passed away on April 27, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hearl Baskett and Lucy Baskett; his former wife Minta Converse Baskett; his son Rick Baskett; and his grandchildren, Josh Randall Hatcher and Candace Bowles.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Bean Baskett; his sister Glaydell Baskett Hammer of Tompkinsville; his children, Diana Baskett Bowles (Larry) of Mount Hermon, Kimberlin Kay Baskett of Gamaliel and Steven Dale Baskett (Kim Chism Baskett) of Mount Hermon; his stepdaughters, Debbie Crowe (Eddie) of Gamaliel and Jo Ann Brown (Ricky) of Tompkinsville; and his grandchildren, Cindy Bowles Peden (Casey), Codey Baskett, Jennie Hatcher, Matt Bowles, Dustin Basket (Valarie), Jamie Hatcher and Lukas Hatcher. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, and several step grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
For the protection of Mr. Baskett's family, it is kindly asked for everyone coming to the service to abide by Governor Beshear's recommendation of wearing a mask and practice social distancing.
