Compton of Gamaliel, Kentucky, born in Livingston, Tennessee, who passed away on August 18, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Houston Compton and Christine Rogers (Cook). He is survived by: his wife Janice Compton (Clarkson) of Gamaliel; his children, Tracy Annette Downing (Phil) of Bowling Green and Cody Compton (Rachel) of Gamaliel; his brother Barry Paul Compton (Karen) of Tompkinsville; his grandchildren, Ty Downing (Addie), Mellie Jae Compton and Wakes Edward Compton; and his great grandchild Elaina Pearl Downing.
