He was predeceased by: his parents, Herold Arterburn and Iness Arterburn (Comer); his wife Anna Lee Arterburn (Burks); and his siblings, Bonnie Crowe, Tessie Poland, Grovie Collins, Lorene Williams, Ernest, Arlis, Rex and Carlie Arterburn.
He is survived by: his children, Joyce Carey (Hollis) of Glasgow, Jeffery Arterburn (Remona) of Glasgow, Jean Davis (Ricky Netherton) of Gamaliel, Ree Nell Blythe (Tony) of Gamaliel, Shirley Copas (Mike Teeples) of Gamaliel and Ivan Arterburn of Gamaliel; and his sisters, Pauline and Christine. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
