It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Royce Cherry of Gamaliel, Kentucky, who passed away on February 25, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sammy W. Cherry and Mayme Estelle Cherry (Coons); and his brothers, Duel, Dennis and Don Cherry.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brandi Plumlee (Dale) of Moss, Rani Cherry of Tompkinsville and Ashley Lee of Tompkinsville; his grandchildren, Mason, Keegan, Zoe, Piper, Dakota, Ella, Hayden and Hannah; his great grandchild Kodie Hale; and his siblings, Joyce Hudson (Jim) of Bowling Green, Judy Hatcher of Bowling Green, Jan Browning-Gregory (Victor) of Glasgow, Dale Cherry (Vickie) of Lafayette and Doyle Cherry of Gamaliel.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bartley & Sons - Gamaliel (315 E Main St, Gamaliel, KY 42140). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at the Gamaliel Cemetery (825 Gamaliel Rd, Gamaliel, KY 42140).
