He is survived by: his siblings, Terry Goolsby (Diane) of Eustis, Kerry Goolsby (Linda) of Marana, Arizona, Andrea Sue Simmons (Bobby) of Waxahachie and Vivian Fox (Joe) of Indianapolis, Indiana; his brother-in-law Dan Smith of Louisa, Kentucky; his great-niece Scarlett Simmons; and his great-nephew Weston Simmons. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
