She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Rhoton and Estelle Rhoton (Savage); her sisters, Mary Chloe Smith and Wilma Thompson; her parents-in-law, Theo and Eva Copass; her son-in-law Tim Birge; and her brothers-in-law, Elder Mitchell Smith, Truman Thompson, Joe Melton, Marlin Gillenwater, Jerry Copass and Charles Hale.
She is survived by: her spouse Carrol Copass; her children, Stacy Birge and Nathan Copass (April); her grandchildren, Elijah of Gamaliel and Rachel Birge of Gamaliel; her stepgranddaughter Dana Miller; her stepgreat-grandson Benton Murphy of Tompkinsville; her siblings, Elbert Rhoton Jr. (Betty) of Greenwood, IN, Judy Melton of Moss, TN and Peggy Coffelt of Tompkinsville, KY; her sisters-in-law, Janetta Lacer (Donnie) of Henderson, KY and Pat Hale of Tompkinsville; and her nephews, Elder Gary Smith, Mark Gillenwater, Derek Thompson, Brian Coffelt, Jeff Coffelt, Kevin Rhoton, Scott Hale and Steve Hale. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Freedom #2 Cemetery or Clementsville Cemetery in memory of Mrs. Bernadine.
