Barbara Ann Newport Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Ann Newport of Gamaliel, Kentucky, who passed away on August 14, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Levie Ancil and Hazel B. Ritter (Burks); her husband Charles Mitchell Newport; her son Kerry Newport; and her sisters, Margie Proffitt, Ruth Copass and Jean Ritter.
She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Newport of Gamaliel; her grandchildren, Michael Newport (Jessica) of Alvaton, Tiffany Massingale (Aaron) of Adolphus and Christopher Newport (Kristen) of Glasgow; her great grandchildren, Corbin Ray Massingale, Kenzlee Paige Massingale and Charles Waylon Newport; her sister-in-law Jean Phillips of Spring; and her close friend Shirley Taylor of Gamaliel.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gamaliel Cemetery, Gamaliel Volunteer Fire Department, or St. Jude Children's Hospital in memory of Barbara Ann Newport.
