He is survived by: his children, Barry Scearce (Cindy) of Franklin, Tennessee and Dena Benson-Scearce (April) of Nashville, Tennessee; his grandsons, Jack Scearce of Franklin, Alex Scearce of Orono and Hudson Benson-Scearce of Nashville, Tennessee.; and his wife Anita Gail Dedmon.
