He is survived by: his wife Abbie Hanks Jones Slingland; his children, Cody Truesdell of Grand Junction, CO, Quinton Slingland of Denver, CO and Emily Pack of Paducah, KY; his stepdaughters, Taira Mobbs Fisette of Greenfield, TN and Jessica Leigh Irvan of Wingo, KY; and his brother James Slingland of Cambridge, OH.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, ten step grandchildren.
