He is survived by: his parents, James Howard Payne and Jane Dempsey Payne; his wife Beth Ann Payne; his daughters, Shena Cox (Daniel) and Dana Payne (Daniel); his sister Linda Payne Berry (Paul); and his grandchildren, Tristan Lalley, Shane Lalley, Ash Allen and Madison Bailey. He is also survived by three nephews; four great-nephews; and four great-nieces.
