She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence McCollum and Eurene McCollum (Golden); her husband Danny Glynn Thompson, Sr.; her son William Shane Thompson; her foster son Brent Allen Johnson; and her siblings, Helen Baugher, Marvin McCollum, Alston McCollum, Jerry McCollum, Marion McCollum and Clarence Edward McCollum.
She is survived by: her children, Dana Thompson Wright (Chris) of Union City and Danny Thompson, Jr. of Union City; her grandchildren, Terra Thompson Young of Union City, Peyton Neyland Lee Wright of Union City and William Blake Thompson of Hickman, Kentucky; her great grandchildren, Hunter Young, Dylan Young and Nova Barnes; her sister Shirley; and her brother-in-law Henry Callison. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
