She was predeceased by: her parents, George Shepherd and Versie Bailey Shepherd (Charles); her significant other Charles D Carty; her son Richard Carty; and her sister Imogene Shepherd.
She is survived by: her children, Anita (Kenny Wayne Patrick), Rita Carty (Mike Helton), Charlene (Steve Bayko) and Vester; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Jake Thompson), Carla (Brad Dehart), Marla (Jesse Morris), Brandon (Amanda Carty), Derrick (Tiffany Carty), Darren (Chelsey Carty), Travis (Kayla Bayko) and Steven (Chelsea Bayko); and her sister Dosie Baldridge.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Menifee Home For Funerals (P. O. Box 98 847 Highway 36, Frenchburg, KY 40322). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
