He was predeceased by: his parents, Clint Halsey and Noka Bailey Halsey; his brothers, Billy and Danny Halsey; and his sister-in-law Ann Halsey.

He is survived by: his wife Rosetta Greear Halsey; his children, Marty Halsey, Marlena Abney, Curtis Berry and Robin Henry; and his sister-in-law Mary Halsey.
