He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Spencer Smallwood of Frenchburg, KY; his children, Steve Smallwood (Michelle Crouch) of Frenchburg, KY and Susan Sponcil (Tim) of Mt. Sterling, KY; and his grandchildren, Jordan Smallwood, Brandon Smallwood, Kelsey K. Smallwood and Jakob Sponcil.
