She was predeceased by: her parents, Major Cornett and Eula Lee Preston Youell; her husband Dennis Combs; her granddaughter Jessica Seals; and her siblings, Major Preston Cornett, Herbert Cornett, William Fultz, Jim Fultz, George Fultz and Helen Cornett.
She is survived by: her children, Eddie Combs (Fannie) of Frenchburg, Barbara Thornsberry of Frenchburg and Patricia Bates of Whitesburg; her grandchildren, Randy Halcomb, Jeff Halcomb, Denny Thornsberry and Tonya Combs; and her brothers, Jack Fultz of Dayton and Cleon Cornett (Pat) of Cumberland. She is also survived by four great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
