He was predeceased by: his parents, Ezra B. Smith and Marie Day Vest; and his sisters, Brenda Jean Smith and Theresa Laird Smith. He is survived by: his wife Ronetta Sorrell Smith; his sons, Matthew Smith (Natisha) and Curtis Smith; his grandchildren, Zailey Smith, Jacob Smith, Isaiah Smith and Gatlin Smith; and his siblings, Becky VanCleve (Kenny), Willie Ray Smith, Mike Smith (Debbie) and Richard Smith.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Menifee Home For Funerals (P. O. Box 98 847 Highway 36, Frenchburg, KY 40322). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
