She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Lawson and Edna Merrell Berry Lawson; her husband Jimmy Amos; her son Samuel Preston Amos; her siblings, Ted Lawson, Troy Lawson and Doris Botts; and her brother-in-law Dallas Huff.
She is survived by: her daughter Paula Johnson of Frenchburg, KY; her siblings, Mark Lawson (Erma Groves) of Menifee Co, Tony Lawson (Christie McKinney) of Pikeville, KY, Jack Lawson (Tina) of Frenchburg, KY, Karen Huff of Frenchburg, KY, Sue Lawson of Morehead, KY, Elaine Bentley (Doug) of Morehead, KY, Janey Wells of Menifee Co and Rebecca Greene (Tony) of Frenchburg, KY; her sister-in-law Kay Lawson; her grandchildren, Adrianna Amos, Victoria Kennedy, Nicole Thomas (Keaton) and Christopher Johnson; and her great grandchildren, Raylen Thomas and Oaklen Thomas.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel (118 Main St, Frenchburg, KY 40322). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the Barker Cemetery (443 Barker Cemetery Rd, Frenchburg, KY 40322).
