He is survived by: his wife Elaine Dotson of Freeburn; his children, Brian Dotson (Leeann), Edward Dotson, Mark Dotson (Donna) of Freeburn and Anna Faye Hines of Hazard; his stepdaughters, Corina Varney (Keithie) and Crystal Holden (Donald) of Los Vegas, NV.; and his close friends, Bill Mapes, Bob Mayhorn and Orville Wolford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
