It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Mapes (Freeburn, Kentucky), born in Williamson, West Virginia, who passed away on November 22, 2018, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent James Willard; her husband Danny Mapes; her brother Roger Cook; and her nephew Delaney Mapes. She is survived by: her parent Addie Vangeline Cook; her sisters, Judy Mapes of Phelps, KY and Joann Bowers of McCarr, KY; her nieces and nephews, Mark Cook, Tangi Gibbs, Melissa Tackett, Jamie Cantrell, Rebecca Stiltner, Marleana Layne and Kayla Justice; and her friend Linda Kay. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, great nieces.
