He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Layne and Irene Casey Layne; and his son Steven W. Layne. He is survived by: his wife Shelva Layne of Freeburn; his children, Henry L. Layne Jr. and Angie Mueller of Maryville; his siblings, Chester Layne Jr. (Judy) of Blaine, Ernestine Daugherty of Ohio, Vella Chapman (Ron) and Cora Ivey (Ronny); his grandchildren, Brandon Layne, Mike Jude, Janie Layne and Lexi Riggs; and his great grandchildren, Paisley, Amity, Kapri and Navie Layne. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
