He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Berton Baker and Shelva Baker Dotson; his sister Pamela Fields; and his grandparents, Walter, Pearl Baker, Hansel and Lillian Lester.
He is survived by: his wife Valerie Baker; his sons, Joshua Baker (Mellissa) and Keaton Baker (Brittany); his siblings, Barry Baker (Kathi), Yvonna Carol Fields (Bernie) and Lawanna McGuire (Charles); and his brother-in-law Jimmy Fields. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends.
