It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shellie Lawrence McGowan of Fredonia, Kentucky, who passed away on August 22, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence McGowan and Mary Chipp McGowan; and his brother Foster McGowan. He is survived by: his wife Pauletta Radford McGowan of Fredonia; his children, Vonda Rodgers of Princeton, Shellie Jr. and Anthony McGowan (DeRyan McGowan) of Princeton; his siblings, Brenda McGowan of Fredonia and Curtis McGowan of Kuttawa; his grandchildren, BreAna Rodgers, Aaliyah Rodgers, Najia Rodgers, Christopher McGowan, Noah McGowan, Isaiah McGowan, Brooke Melton, Aidan McGowan, Martez McGowan and Kaleah McGowan; and his great grandchildren, Aaniya Griffin, Khaius Rodgers, Chloe Angelo and Carson Angelo.
