He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Eli York and Nannie Mabel Travis York; his daughter Cindy Schenk; and his sisters, Betty Harris and Virginia Rustin.
He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn Clement York of Fredonia; his son James Allen York (Terry) of Providence; and his siblings, Jane Burton of Princeton, Joann Dalton of Caldwell County, Shirley Stallion (Bud) of Crittenden County, Danny York (Elaine) of Fredonia and Larry Wayne York of Caldwell County. He is also survived by four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
