He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Franklin Burchett; his son James Caraway (Amy) of Princeton; his sister Betty Pyle; and his grandsons, Cody Caraway (Sarah) and Colyn Caraway. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
