He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace E. Herndon, Sr. and Cornelia Edwards Herndon. He is survived by: his wife Jane Herndon; his children, Brad Herndon (Valerie) of Hendersonville, TN and Jane Allison Shaw of Louisville, KY; and his grandson Jack Shaw.
