She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil L. Hillis and Sarah Francis Hillis (Record); her husband Alvin Marion Lee; and her brothers, James Buddy Hillis and Robert Lee Hillis.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Kitchens (Ronnie) of Franklin, KY, Patty Lee (Danny Vaughn) of Franklin, KY and Jamie Wimpee (Randall Lawson) of Franklin, KY; her sister Betty Freeman of Shelbyville, TN; and her grandchildren, Zachary Kitchens (Kelle), Justin Kitchens (Hannah), Lorinda Pickering (Dustin), Kristin Abney, Joshua Abney (Chelsie) and Sara Abney (Ray). She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
