Gentry of Franklin, Kentucky, born in Nashville, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 20, 2024 at the age of 80. He was predeceased by: his parents, William McKinley Gentry and Lena Bell Faulk Gentry; and his siblings, Julia Gentry, Violet Watkins, Charles Gentry and David Gentry.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Gentry; his son Josh Gentry (Marissa) of Louisville, KY; his stepchildren, Jennifer Murray (Dennie) of Franklin, KY, Jessi Clark (Tyler Aukerman) of Union City, OH and Justin Clark (Caroline) of Louisville, KY; his grandchildren, Ty Murray (Lindsay), Mallory Murray, Charley, Georgia Clark, Miles, Rex Hughes and Cyrus Aukerman; his great grandchild Raelyn Murray; and his siblings, Bea Doster (Jesse), Soney Gentry of Murray, KY, Robert Gentry (Judith) of Kenner, LA, Glenn Gentry (Linda) of Prattville, AL and Arvil Gentry (Pat) of Columbia, TN..
