She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas B. Mitchell Sr. and Evie Lou Mitchell (Pharr); her spouse Gene Taylor; her son Johnny Taylor; and her siblings, Eulalar Mitchell, Sylivia Mitchell, Violet Mitchell, Flavis Nelson Mitchell and Thomas "Tommy" Mitchell, Jr..
She is survived by: her sons, Ricky Taylor (Kathleen) of Kenosha, WI and Thomas Troy Taylor (Becky) of Franklin, KY; and her grandchildren, Chris Taylor, Cody Taylor (Jessica), Casey Taylor (Jackie), Sara Wallace (Terry), Nicole Salmon (JP), Kayla Crossfield, CJ Hunter (Erica) and Ryan Hunter (Brianna). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory (325 W Cedar St, Franklin, KY 42134). A burial was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at the Sulphur Spring Cemetery (2504 Sulphur Springs Church Rd, Franklin, KY 42134).
