She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Price Smith, Jr.; her sons, James Carl and Stephen Price Smith; her sister Mary J. Thomas; and her brother-in-law Carl Thomas.
She is survived by: her daughter Rebecca A. Smith Berry (Philip); her daughter-in-law Barbara Smith Swearingen (Jim); her grandchildren, Stephanie A. Smith Maxwell (Kemp), Andrew B. Smith (Laura), Jay P. Berry (Leah) and Patrick M. Berry; and her great grandchildren, Asher, Raleigh, Witt Maxwell, Jackson, Ava Kate Smith and Jude Berry.
