She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Starks and Annie Mae Link Starks; and her spouse I. G. "Spud" Jernigan. She is survived by: her children, Jon Jernigan (Karen) of Memphis, TN, David Jernigan of Franklin, KY and Leann Moody (Jeff) of Franklin, KY; her grandchildren, Mark Jernigan, Andrea Jernigan, Adrianne Jernigan Glazer and Brent Jernigan; and her brothers, Will Frank Starks of Huntsville, AL and Gene Starks of Franklin, KY..
