It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Strain (Franklin, Kentucky), who passed away on April 13, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Earl Strain; her son Robert William Strain; and her grandsons, Phillip Strain and David Edward "Bubba" Fleming. She is survived by: her children, Larry Earl Strain (Gail) of Orlinda, TN, James "Jim" Barton Strain (Patricia Flowers) of Scottsville, KY, Cyndia Leevan Tarrence (Larry) of Bowling Green, KY, Robbie Ruth Fleming of Franklin, KY, Jonell Spivey (Delmar) of Russellville, KY and Alice Mae Cook (Jimmy) of Franklin, KY; her grandchildren, Brian William "Pete" Strain, Joshua Alan Strain, Paul Strain, Christopher Strain (Melissa), Grace Evelyn Strain (Aaron Wilson), Cathy Dawn Cavanaugh (Alan), Jamie Renee Wallace (Eddie), Pamela Nichole Roberts (Tyler), Justin Cook (Sami Gann), Joey Cook, Rachel Tarrence and Faith Spivey; and her stepgrandchildren, Isaiah Spivey and Heather Spivey. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
