He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Luther and Rebecca Elizabeth (Jones); and his siblings, Marylin Moore and Wayne Byrum. He is survived by: his wife Susan "Diane" Byrum; his children, Susan Locklin (Randall) of Massachusetts and Dana G. Byrum of Kentucky; his grandchildren, Russell Caudill (Simone) of Illinois, Sarah Anne Calavas (Kahlil) of Massachusetts, Denae Groves of Kentucky and Brooke Byrum of Kentucky; and his siblings, Barbara Johnson (Aubrey) of Bowling Green and Lawrence Dale Byrum of Franklin, Kentucky.. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
