He was predeceased by: his parents, William Atlas May and Kenlis Summers May; and his wife Frances Angel May. He is survived by: his sons, Robert "Bob" May (Deanna) of Franklin and Stephen Wayne May (Celia) of Franklin; and his sisters, Goldie Freeman of Franklin and Ruth Bayles of Franklin. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
