He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wilbur Alford and Josephine Yates Alford; and his siblings, Kenneth Alford, Danny Alford, Jimmy Alford, Brenda Hyde and Vicky Alford.
He is survived by: his daughter Misty Mejia of Bowling Green, KY; his granddaughters, Hali Williams, Secia Navarro, Annaya Marin and Alanna Marin; his close friend Jean Carter of Springfield, TN; his great grandchild Adriel Spainhour; and his sisters, Barbara Byrum, Faye Cantrell, Debbie Carver and Wanda Dailey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory (325 W Cedar St, Franklin, KY 42134). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
