He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Wilson "Pete" Freas and Mary Douglas Freas (Henderson); and his niece Leslie Hutcheson. He is survived by: his children, Barry Freas of Franklin, KY and Melinda Freas Wester (Stuart) of Lexington, KY; his grandchildren, Kristin Freas, Abby Freas of MiMi Bates, Emily Bates and James Bates; his great grandchildren, Carson Kelley and Tanner West; his stepdaughter Lynnette McCarter; his sister Sue Hutcheson (Ray) of Franklin, KY; and his nephews, Rod Hutcheson and Scot Hutcheson.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Friends of the Shelter, P.O. Box 910 Franklin, KY 42135-0910. Donations may be mailed or dropped off at the funeral home.
