She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmy Blewett; and her parents, George Carter and Mary Goodwin Carter. She is survived by: her siblings, Elizabeth Gainous, Thomas Carter, Clarence Carter, Herbert Carter and Ellen Carter; her children, Melissia Blewett of Bowling Green, Lee Albertson (Greg), Jackie Gilliam (Ellen) of Franklin, Melinda Pippen (Roy) of Cedar Hill and Mary Jordan (Kyle) of Chapman, Tennessee; her brother Paul Carter; and her grandchildren, Matt Barnes (Jessica), Andrew Brigance (Carla), Ashley Knight (Myron), Amanda Johnson, Stephanie Jordan, Wyatt Jordan, Colton Pippen and Rebekh Clements (Daniel). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
