She was predeceased by: her parents, Garland Thompson and Bertha Kennedy Thompson; her husband William Roy Britt; her siblings, Lloyd Thompson, Rufus Leon Thompson, Roy Vickers Thompson, Raymond Thompson, Clarice Estelle Thompson Webb and Beulah Thompson; and her grandson John Garland Jenkins.
She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Hampton (Paul) of Owensboro, KY, Linda Jenkins (Glenn) of Evansville, IN and Loretta Britt Sadler of Portland, TN. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces.
