With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawrence Leroy Johns of Franklin, Kentucky, who passed away on July 7, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Lester Johns and Vercie Ella Lawrence; his wife Gladys Gorham Johns; and his brother William L. "Billy" Johns. He is survived by: his children, Kathy White Brogli (Herbert) of Somerset, KY, Michael Ray White (Bonnie) of Auburn, KY, Nelda Lee Johns Towe (Terry) of Franklin, KY and Gina Elizabeth Hendricks (Danny) of Franklin, KY; his sisters, Ida Ruth Mirrilla of Lanesville, IN and Martha Jane Moody of Bowling Green, KY; and his former wife Nell Johns of Franklin, KY.. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to the Hillsdale Cemetery Fund in care of Cliff Spears, 1130 Roark Rd. Franklin, KY.
