He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Nicholas Harper and Allie Young Harper; his son-in-law Alan Woodward; and his siblings, W. B. Harper, Alleyene Marbury, Rufus Harper of Johnny Harper, J. N, Earl Harper and Georgia Greer.
He is survived by: his wife Clara Nell Harper (Taylor); his children, Ben Taylor Harper (Janice) and Beverly Woodward of Auburn, KY; his grandchildren, Allie Harper Brown (Marty), Benjamin Taylor Harper (Amanda), Connor Alan Woodward and Katherine Taylor Woodward; and his great grandchildren, Aubrey Brown, Forest Harper and Loralie Harper.
