It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katie Barnett (Franklin, Kentucky), who passed away on July 14, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Detherage and Louise Detherage; her husband Isaac Jr. Barnett; her sisters, Bernice Lockhart, Frances Barnett and Dolly Barnett; and her children, James, Izear Barnett and Mary Young.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Barnett, Terry Barnett (Sandra), Junella Tipton (George), Sherba Price (Donald), Thomas Barnett (Donna), Willa Bradley (Leon), Michael Barnett, Carline Barnett, Katherine Stewart (Carl), Ronnie Barnett (Dawn) and Debbie (Brad Link); her grandchildren, Steve, Stephanie (Lee Turner), Lashea, Katie "Tina" (KeKe), Shanika (Anthony "Jabo"), Carl, Lenora, Curtis, Eric, Brandon, Tyson, Breanna, Justice, Demarkus, Quita and Laphelia; and her parents-in-law, Wendell C. Barnett and Glenn Barnett.
