With solemn reverence, we commemorate Karen Lea Monroe of Franklin, Kentucky, whose life came to an end on December 17, 2024 at the age of 57, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Walter and Evelyn White Brown (Wayne); and her aunts and uncles, Chick White, Earl White, Scott White, Betty Rogers and Doug White.
She is survived by: her daughters, Peri Monroe (Cameron) of Franklin, KY and Addison Monroe of Franklin, KY; her cousins, Robert, Gail, Steve, Dennis, Chuck, Kevin, Troy and Amber; her aunts, Wilma Bohannon and Lynda Pippin (Jimmy); and her close friends, Amy Ellis, Lisa Cummings Scott and Gina Duke.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gilbert Funeral Home (325 W Cedar St, Franklin, KY 42134). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
