She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Wise and Virginia Jackson Wise; her husband Rick Carter; her daughter Katie Jo Carter; and her sisters, Brenda and Nila.
She is survived by: her children, Casey Garcia (Jericho), Ashley Wissing (Justin), Randy Wise (Jessica) and Jacinda Johnson (Jeremy); her grandchildren, Seth, Ryan Gregory, Daichi, Kayla Garcia, Gavin, Jake Adams, Hunter Mitchell, Taylor, Tyler, Kaya, Jada Johnson, Chyna, Zack, Shawn and Lily Wise; and her siblings, Sherry Findell and Don Wise.
