It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie Don Samuels (Franklin, Kentucky), who passed away on November 14, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie Samuels and Hosea Samuels; his spouse Barbel Went Samuels; and his siblings, Jerry Samuels, Bobby Samuels, Hosea Samuels, Kenneth Samuels, Richard Samuels and Mary Katherine Samuels.
He is survived by: his stepdaughter Jessica Frazier Mason (Montez) of Bowling Green, KY; his grandchildren, K. J. Carter and Isaiah Mason; and his brothers, William Samuels (Elizabeth) of Franklin, Leon Samuels of Franklin and Joseph Samuels (Earlie) of New York. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
