He was predeceased by: his parents, Mort Reeder Alderson and Agnes Pauline Akers Alderson; his wife Patricia "Pat" Alderson; and his siblings, Jean Perry Barber, Eldon B. Alderson, Edward Lee Alderson and Bobby Alderson.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Alderson (Amy) of Lewisburg, KY, Stacey Steger (Steve) of Franklin, KY and Mark Alderson (Joanna) of Bowling Green, KY; his grandchildren, Lauren Alderson (Maria), Michael Newman (Jordan), Jacob Newman, Cole Newman and Stone Alderson; and his sisters, Linda Billiot of Walker, LA and Charlene Mahaney of Franklin, KY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy are to be made to Providence Baptist Church, 7536 Springfield Rd, Franklin, KY 42134 or a charity of one's choice in Jerry's memory.
