She was predeceased by: her parents, David Handy and Mae Broomfield Handy; and her brother James Handy. She is survived by: her children, Mike Burgin of Aztec, Derrell Burgin of Albuquerque, Rebecca Sheagren of Franklin, Melissa McKinzie of Midland and Jada England of Topeka, Kansas; and her sisters, Linda Hicks of Lubbock and Liz Broadstreet of Andrews, Texas. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
